FAQ
How engagements work.
Yes. A lot of our Open & Build work begins before a license exists — feasibility, proforma, program design, and getting you ready for DHCS, CARF, and Joint Commission review.
We're rooted in Los Angeles and start with California, where our market and regulatory fluency is deepest. We do support operators nationwide — tell us where you are and we'll be straight about fit.
It depends on your starting point, level of care, and market — and we won't promise a number we can't stand behind. For growth work, most operators see admissions trends move within the first quarter as compliant demand and follow-up tighten. For new builds, the gating factor is licensing — California DHCS reviews typically run a few months — so we put early energy into readiness. We set honest, specific expectations in Basecamp.
No — and we're careful about this. DHCS, CARF, Joint Commission, ASAM, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part 2 are standards we help clients prepare for and navigate, not certifications we claim for ourselves.
We follow the Ascent Method — Basecamp, Route, Climb, Summit. Some clients need one stage; most want a partner through the whole climb. We scope to where you are.
